Consisting of Rosemary Thomas, Ron Baker and Sieffe, Ronrossie perform a wide variety of British and North American folk music on guitar, mandolin and tin whistle, with the occasional lap dulcimer, plus vocals. The mix of traditional and modern self-penned songs to a Pentangle-style backing make for an interesting evening and the vocal sweetness of Rosemary is always worth coming out on a cold night to hear! Their base is the Titirangi Folk Music Club and all are regular performers there in the monthly public meetings.
Rosemary is a singer/songwriter and guitarist with a whistle urge and the voice of an angel . . .used to great effect in this group and also in trio "Mrs Trebleclef" & in the acapella group "De Quorum".
Ron Baker is a Canadian guitarist who delights in upper fretboard accompaniment and is happy to play as long as the performance is perfect!
Sieffe has trouble controlling his fingers and has to be beaten on a daily basis to stick to the script . . . he also writes songs and is involved with Westumbria and the quartet English trad acapella group, the Chromium Brothers as well as De Quorum.
