'Eclectic' is the word that best sums up Tamlin's repertoire and musical approach. Their set-list is a mix of dance tunes and song from the British Isles to the Balkans, from the USA to New Zealand. As much World Music as Folk, you'll see them swapping a wide range of instruments, including cittern, accordian, Hummelchen & Galician pipes, whistles, tambourines, fiddle, dobro and guitar. Their approach is about not being confined to any particular style or genre. At the heart of it is driving rhythm and a lot of good fun.
Greg and Linda Whitcombe are the mainstays, having formed Tamlin 10 years ago. They've been there, done that and now they're back for another swing.
So there you have it: an eclectic repertoire, an eclectic line-up of musicians who thoroughly enjoy themselves. They hope you do too.

The Club was conceived in 1965 when the Clancy Brothers didn't come and someone had the astounding idea of having a sing-a-round thus transforming an audience into a folk group. Formally established in 1966 we're still going strong.
