- Wires & Wood are:-
- Bryan Christianson : Banjo / baritone vocals.
- Micheal Young : Mandolin / lead vocals.
- Dave Warren : Guitar / tenor vocals.
- Alec Healy, or Garry Trotman, or *Lott* : Bass. (almost like having a 'mystery guest'!)
- Wires & Wood:-
- An Auckland based 4 piece bluegrass band.
- Wires & Wood:-
- Play music drawn from a wide variety of sources - from songwriters as diverse as Bill Monroe, JJ Cale, Robert Earl Keen and Tim O'Brien.
- Wires & Wood:-
- Cover the bluegrass spectrum from sad and lonesome to driving and dynamic.
- In January 2011, their debut album ‘Over The Moon’ won the RIANZ Tui award for Best Folk Album.
- In January 2012, they will guest at the Auckland Folk Festival.
